Interpon is not just a brand, but pioneers fueled by innovation, tenacity, and a steadfast commitment to sustainability. At Interpon, they’ve carved out a unique place in the industry, offering an unparalleled palette of colors and finishes that truly set them apart. Their broad range of powder coatings caters to all your needs, reflecting their dedication to partnership, whether you’re a local business or a global enterprise.
For BATIMAT 2026 in Paris, AkzoNobel Powder Coatings wanted to create a strong and cohesive presence for its Interpon Architectural brand.
The stand needed to communicate a wide range of products, technologies and sustainability messages, including Interpon D2525 Futura 2026–2029, superdurable finishes, Low-E technology and Eco+ products and services.
With multiple messages competing for attention, the key challenge was to create a clear visual hierarchy across the stand while making sure everything still felt like part of one consistent brand experience.
The physical structure added another layer of complexity. Graphics had to work across walls of different sizes and proportions, some of which were fabric and visible from both sides. Existing campaign imagery also needed to be adapted to work at exhibition scale and across multiple vertical surfaces without losing impact.
Wax Digital was responsible for the graphical layout and typesetting across the stand, working from AkzoNobel Powder Coatings’ brief and the stand design supplied by the exhibition contractor.
We developed a consistent visual system that brought the different product stories together through bold architectural imagery, dark backgrounds, colour, clear typography and large-scale messaging.
Existing Interpon campaign artwork, including imagery from the Futura 2026–2029 campaign, was carefully reworked for the exhibition environment. This included considering how imagery would crop, align and flow across tall vertical panels and adjacent surfaces while remaining visually strong from different viewpoints.
We also had to think carefully about how content would work on fabric walls that could be seen from both sides, balancing legibility, layout and production constraints.
The result was a stand-wide graphic treatment that allowed individual product messages to remain distinct while still feeling part of one coherent Interpon experience.

The finished stand created a bold, recognisable presence for Interpon at BATIMAT 2026 and successfully brought together a broad range of products and messages within one visual language.
The combination of large-scale architectural imagery, colour, physical finish samples and clear product messaging gave visitors multiple ways to engage with the brand while maintaining consistency across the space.
The client was very pleased with the finished stand, and the exhibition was considered a success.
For Wax Digital, the project demonstrates how existing campaign assets can be successfully translated into large-scale exhibition graphics while maintaining clarity, consistency and visual impact.
